The upgraded center features the latest voice dispatch communications technology, including four Avtec Scout™ Internet Protocol (IP) dispatch consoles; an Avtec Mini SIP console, which connects to the Scout infrastructure and controls up to four radio endpoints; and Avtec Ranger™ dispatch software, which runs on a Wi-Fi-enabled LTE tablet for disaster recovery and emergency situations. The project upgrade was led by Wireless Communications' General Manager Dave Walton and Account Executive Randy Heaton. Wireless Communications is an Avtec authorized reseller.
